Event Start Date: 03/06/2011 Event Start Time: 12pm Approx Event Duration: 24 hours Fundraising Goal: £500 The SavePatches team along with special guest gamer extraordinaire Simon Butler will be holding a gaming marathon in aid of Ataxia UK at www.savepatches.com The event will begin at midday on 3rd June 2011 and last 24 hours straight (toilet breaks allowed, but frowned upon), it will include games past and present on various consoles. We are raising money for Ataxia, an incurable condition which affects the muscles and heart. Millie Mae was diagnosed with the condition in 2010 and now faces a race against the clock. At various points during the marathon we will be playing Rock Band. We will also be taking suggestions for songs to play, with the 850+ tracks available for you to choose hopefully we will have something for everyone! You can view the track list at www.savepatches.com and message us with requests! We are trying to get 500 people to donate £1 to this worthy cause, hence the fundraising goal of £500 (all mathematicians here at SavePatches). Of course if you feel compelled to donate more than £1 then be our guest, every amount is very much appreciated and will go towards helping Ataxia sufferers such as Millie Mae.
